In Vitro Fertilization (IVF)

This service offers the resurrection of mice from live or frozen sperm. We perform the fertilisation with sperm of strains from outside sources or frozen and stored by us.

1. A completely filled out request form
2. The GMO datasheet as requested by the veterinary office
3. An iRATS breeding project opened under the researchers own license to be used for weaned offspring (iRATS users only)

• The cost of the service is a one-time service fee of 3 000 CHF. The fee is charged also, when IVF fails for sperm from outside sources.
• An additional fee of 700 CHF will be charged when breeding is to be initiated after successful IVF, before transfer into target facility.
